It's Christmas! Time for a Christmas Wedding

I truly cannot believe that we once again have reached the end of yet another year.  I could tell you how fast the year seemed to go by but I am sure that many of you are feeling the same way.  Much like the rush of the last few days leading up to a wedding which sadly in the end goes by in a blur, this Christmas seemed to rush up to meet us and then was gone in a flash.

Well we had one client this year who thought that she would hold on to Christmas just a little bit longer this year. 

Avryl has been planning for her Christmas wedding for quite a while now and on December 19th she married her long-time love Rickie in a truly romantic ceremony at Trillium Trails.

The theme of course was Christmas. Avryl's colour were dark red and silver, her decor accents were snowflakes.  The bride was even lucky enough to have the hall and surrounding area blanket by snow - the entire wedding looked like a winter wonderland.

Another couple, Marie and Brandon who are planning to get married in Septembe 2010 were also in attendance.  It was wonderful for me as a planner to enjoy the day but to also have clients in attendance to see how their day will be run and what to expect.  It was more fun to watch as Marie caught the bouquet and know that THIS was indeed the next couple to get married!

Truly this was a beautiful wedding, a wonderful day and I wish Avryl and Ricky all the best as they start their new life together!
